Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

With an estimated box office gross of $333 million, we're not the only ones who enjoyed James Gunn's Oscar-nominated Guardians of the Galaxy. Starring a slew of A-listers, the Marvel film is stocked with sci-fi elements we savor — original creatures, tongue-in-cheek fun, retro thrills, appealing action sequences and a shirtless Chris Pratt (that last point isn't essential, but it certainly helps).
