Ian Somerhalder and Nietzsche & Sohalia

After finding her in traffic near the Vampire Diaries' stages, actor Ian Somerhalder sprung into action and rescued his pooch Nietzsche (who surprisingly was pregnant with eight puppies at the time). Proving that he's in no way partial to dogs, Ian also adopted kitty Sohalia from Conyers, Georgia in October 2014. Ian announced Sohalia's arrival into his family by posting a photo to Instagram and saying that he nearly didn't adopt her because her cage was "wildly mislabeled" as "feral/not friendly."
