Vera Farmiga and Taissa Farmiga

If you went into The Nun having a sense of familiarity with the character of Sister Irene, you wouldn’t have to look further than the character of Lorraine Warren. Sister Irene was played by actress Taissa Farmiga, and if you thought that last name sounded familiar it’s because it’s the same family name as actress Vera Farmiga. Taissa is in fact the younger sister (by 21 years) of the Conjuring series star and their resemblance is uncanny.
