56 Up – November 22

In this 8th installment, it's been nearly 50 years since we first met our collection of seven-year-olds on Granada TV's historic Seven Up!  Now 56, how are they facing getting older? How many of the original children are still taking part? Every seven years director Michael Apted connects with them to find out. Through marriage, childbirth, poverty and illness, the "kids" have come to terms with both hope and disappointment. The subjects are interviewed as to the changes that have occurred in their lives during the last seven years, as seen in 49 Up in 1998.
