Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) asks for a volunteer to accompany him on a mission to retrieve the findings of a previous Denmark expedition, from which the men never returned. Iver Iversen (Joe Cole) steps up to join him as they cross the vast landscape of Greenland.
