Two Brooklyn teenage prodigies, Claudette "C.J." Walker (Eden Duncan-Smith) and Sebastian Thomas (Dante Crichlow), build makeshift time machines to go back in time to save C.J.'s brother, Calvin (Astro), from being wrongfully killed by a police officer.
