Jodie Foster

Wanting to stray from the classic "little sister" roles child actors typically take on, Jodie Foster was cast in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver (1976). Her performance as a child prostitute earned her an Oscar nomination when she was 14. That was just the beginning of Foster's Academy Awards journey. She took home two Best Actress statues before the age of 30: one for her work in The Accused (1988) and again for The Silence of the Lambs (1991).
