British actress Rachel Weisz (The Mummy, The Constant Gardner) has split from  director Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Wrestler) after eight years together. Weisz began dating the director in 2002 and the pair became engaged in 2005. According to reports, the couple, who share a four-year-old son, Henry, separated months ago.

A spokesperson tells TMZ.com, “Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC.”

But other reports are indicating that Weisz is smitten by her Dream House co-star Daniel Craig. Sources say that she is “head over heels” for the James Bond star who plays her husband in movie. A source claims: “Rachel and Daniel simply sparked during the filming of Dream House in Canada. They have great chemistry.”

Frig, almost everyone gets divorced nowadays. Marriage isn’t even special anymore. When you get married it’s making a life commitment to another and vice versa. I know I will never get married due to the fact that I know marriage is not for me.

Uhmm…Daniel Craig is married. Just sayin’
But yeah, I agree marriage is no longer sacred and I think it’s sad. But for those whose marriages have lasted over 10 years (which seems impossible nowadays) I congratulate them. 🙂

Why do people who work in Hollywood even get married or engaged?

Well I can admit to one thing as others have mentioned in this blog…marriage today is getting more and more ridiculous out there…as for actors it’s really never a good thing to marry one…their lifesyle BREEDS infidelity…I’m an actress and I love my husband of 20 years and YES I would never marry an actor…too self centered and the world they live in is too SHALLOW in the first place…besides more of these actresses marry for upgrading their acting portfolio and marry a director rather than a soulmate…like who recently that seperated….no SUPRISE…she was CALLING ou to leonardo di capria and saying I LOVE HIM…while accepting her oscar in front of her director husband Sam mendes and he must of thought what a FOOL he was to have set those two in a role together…are they divorced…YESSSSS…no suprise…Hollywood is a world based on falseness and EGOS ramping around….TRUE LOVE IS EVERLASTING and I found it….and that you rarelt see in show business…
Good Luck for those hopeless romantics…don’t give up…but don’t sell yourself short either…:)

Is it just me, or isn’t that a picture of Anne Hathaway, not Rachel Weisz?

Good one.Rudyard! Anonymous was giving a different scope on a different actress. Anyways, if Rachel Weisz is finding some Happiness in another mans arms, especially a charming, good looker like Daniel Craig!, then things may not have been so good “on the back burner” at home for some time, most likely. The article said that they had separated for “several months”. If she was still making the movie with Craig, then it sounds a bit like a case of “rebound”. However, time will tell, ‘eh? More power to her, for “moving on” so quickly!–no mourning period!
