Richie enrolls in alcohol program

Nicole Richie, who is six months pregnant, has enrolled in a long term anti drinking program, according to People magazine. The SB 38 Alcohol Program is for people who have been convicted of drinking and driving more than once within seven years. Richie will get 52 hours of group counselling, bi-weekly interviews and 12 hours of alcohol education. Richie served 82 minutes in jail on August 24 for driving under the influence last December.
good for her, she is doing something to help herself and her new family.
Who cares? She is a pregnant woman and she’s actually trying to do rehab now? That child is an abomination. Stupid Madeleine.
She is a grown woman, but let’s hope that Lionel Ritchie can stop touring and focus on his daughter who is in desperate need of help. Her pregnancy with that tatooed what’s-his-name is just a cry for “looking for love in all the wrong places”. Sadly, he will soon leave her. I don’t wish her any ill will but girlfriend has to first learn to love herself because she can ever love anyone else, let alone a baby. I hope she gets the help she needs for her sake, and for the baby. You only get 1 kick at the can and life is not a dress rehearsal.
