Seal Team Six now on DVD

By Tribute on February 19, 2013 | 3 Comments

The hard-hitting drama Seal Team Six begins in a cell and then goes straight to an intense investigation after a tracker is placed in someone’s pocket. This leads to a conversation between three CIA agents. All of a sudden, the action explodes as it switches to a surprise attack in Afghanistan. As the movie continues, the plot begins to unravel, with the stories coming together. However, one thing is clear from the beginning; the movie follows the efforts of a group of Navy Seals trying to capture Osama bin Laden after rumors are sparked over his whereabouts. Cam Gigandet plays Stunner, the leader of the group. His team is played by actors Alvin “Xzibit” Joiner, Anson Mount and Freddy Rodriguez. Each of the men played the roles with ease, drawing you into the characters’ emotions and portraying sensitive sides when communicating with their loved ones—parents, children, spouses, etc.

The film has been compared to the box office hit Zero Dark Thirty starring Jessica Chastain, since both movies revolve around the same topic. However, there are many differences. Zero Dark Thirty spans a longer period of time while the majority of Seal Team Six is spent closer to the final stage of the capture. Overall, the movie was intense and filled with action. The DVD release also includes a special feature that takes you behind the scenes. Other DVDs releasing today include: Anna Karenina, Fun Size, Sinister and Top Gun 3D. ~Renita Naraine
