Sigourney Weaver mistaken for man

By Alexandra Heilbron on September 24, 2010 | 8 Comments

Sigourney Weaver has revealed she was once pursued by a girl who thought she was a man. Considered one of Hollywood’s most beautiful and talented women, the 60-year-old says when she was a young girl starting out her career as a stage actress she was sometimes mistaken for a member of the opposite sex. Because of her height, Sigourney was once cast in a male role in a play and a female fan chased her down the street. “In one show, I remember that I played Rudolph Valentino, and I came in on a motorcycle and did a whole Elvis thing, and I was chased by a girl,” she laughed in an interview with the website Collider. “I kept saying, ‘I’m a girl! I’m a girl! Look, I’m a girl!’ It was just funny,” she recalled. Nowadays Sigourney experiences no such problems, and earlier this week was seen looking glamorous at the premiere of her new comedy You Again, where she and co-star Jamie Lee Curtis turned up in matching blue dresses.

My ex-boyfriend had a huge crush on her. He thought she was the most gorgeous woman ever. And after her, Julianne Moore.

She’s 60? She doesn’t look 60 in that picture, she looks like maybe early 40s or even younger.

@Sabrina: Wow! I wondered if anyone else saw that! I often wondered about her with being so tall, the prominent brow, no hips like a male, but when I saw that scene I was blown away. People can deny it, but it’s all there right on screen!

“considered one of Hollywood’s most beautiful….” Come on; give us a break. Look at the skin hanging off her arms. Looks like KFC gone bad. She may not be a man but she’s about as close as a woman can get without a sex change. More likely she was originally a man and had a sex change. Imagine waking up to that every morning. Creepy.
