Spears bombs in MTV appearance

Britney Spears‘ comeback at the MTV awards last night was a catastrophe. Dressed like a stripper in a black sequined bikini and mesh stockings, she lip-synched, which was embarrassing enough, but didn’t managed to match her words, and at one time, stopped singing altogether. Spears appeared overweight and out of breath while trying to dance. Celeb blogger Perez Hilton called her performance “pathetic.”
With Britney it’s never been about the music anyway; people just want to the scantily clad bombshell and that’s exactly what Britney delivered last night at the MTV Awards. She knows exactly what she’s doing; it’s for everyone else to catch up.
Britney returned to the stage triumphant last night; no one commands an audience like the salacious Ms. Spears!
She looked and sounded great! I love the new sound and her new cd is incredible and her best yet!
The performance was bold, brave, and brassy — in other words, pure Britney!!!
Britney proved she’s still the hottest babe around! Anyone who hasn’t picked up her new album should run out and get it NOW!
You could tell she was nervous, but that just heightened the sincerity of the performance.
Outfit was a disaster so was her so called performance.
Bravo, Britney! That was the single most important televised performance by any entertainer since Elvis Presley’s ’68 Comeback Special! Love her new album and the “Gimme More” single is classic Britney!

If the rest of the show had been as entertaining as Britney, I wouldn’t have fallen asleep.
Her performance was fine.
