Superbad has super-good sales at box office

SuperbadSuperbad is the new leader at the weekend box office, with receipts totaling $31.2 million (all figures US). Rush Hour 3 dropped to second place, taking in $21.8 million for a two-week total of $88.2 million. The Bourne Ultimatum also dropped a spot, winding up in third with $19 million, making its domestic total to date $163.8 million. Dropping to fourth was The Simpsons Movie with $6.7 million, while the new thriller, The Invasion, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, barely squeaked into the top five with a disappointing take of $6 million.

    such a funny movie, it was awkward and nasty just like most teenaged boys.
    this was a comedic look at the majority of all high school experiences.
