Tara StrongTara Strong has been released from the indie animated series Boxtown after she liked a Twitter (now known as “X”) post that read, “Islam is a real, clear and present danger.”

On October 10, she posted: “For those who support the actions of #Hamas; when they infiltrate your home town, on your soil, break into Jewish homes, raping, beheading innocent babies, will you applaud them? Will you wave their flag while they slaughter Christians & Muslims who don’t believe their ideologies?”

Tara learned that she was to be recast when the news was posted via X by BoxtownOfficial on October 12. The post read: “Hello all! Just wanted to offer a quick update on Boxtown. We will be recasting the role of Bill (previously played by Tara Strong). We’ll have more info soon on open auditions. Thanks for y’all’s understanding as we re-orient and figure out the next steps.”

The announcement was met with outrage from fans, who slammed the show for cutting ties with the popular actress.

Tara replied to the post, saying, “Just found out on twitter! This is what happens when you help fans get shows made I guess. Fired for being Jewish. Glad I helped you get your kickstarter money. Please lose my email address & pray for my family in Israel and in Gaza & #prayforpeace.”

She added, “I’m speaking about the terrorist org HAMAS. We should all be against them.”

She deserves an Oscar for putting up with the Anti-Jewish woke politics of the fakes she works for. Hope she moves on to bigger & better things. She’s beautiful – why isn’t she in regular acting roles.

#StayStrongTara. You have a lot of support against your former woke-embracing employer. Long live Free Speech.

She should sue their a^^es for discriminating against her for being Jewish!! That’s illegal! I hope a very good & powerful lawyer will make her a very rich woman out of this fiasco. Good luck Tara — you’ve done nothing wrong, — but THEY sure have!!!

I hope she comes to realize the severity of spreading misinformation and its consequences. The Isareal government itself has retracted the beheading of babies story. Speaking out against Hamas is just, villifying and spreading hate of another whole religion is despicable.

TARA, FREEDOM OF SPEECH, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR STATEMENT AS YOU SEE FIT TO TELL AND EXPRESS YOUR COMMENTS. TO FIRE A PERSON FOR THEIR COMMENTS IS OUTRAGEOUS. OUR GROUP AND COMMERCIALS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANYTHING THIS COMPANY, CEO, AND DIRECTORS WILL PRODUCE. THERE IS A BAN ON THE SELFISHNESS OF THIS COMPANY AND EXECUTIVES.

Can’t she sue for this? Hamas has been identified as a terrorist organization by multiple countries so I don’t see how this could be considered hate speech, especially since they’re the ones that invaded another country and went on a killing spree on civilians.

I don’t think she gives a one. It’s a show no one’s heard of, hasn’t aired yet and needed the public to fund it to get it made. She works with Nickelodeon, Disney, Marvel and other huge studios so she doesn’t need this tiny show. She probably wasn’t even paid much for it, if at all – she had to help them get the fund raising going. It’s their loss, less people will watch it if she isn’t on it.

She was wrong to condemn a whole religion. It is what a person does with the beliefs is what judges the person. Yes, Hamas is a terrorist group, but what the right wingers in Israel government were doing just as horrendous. Two wrongs do not make anything right. That is why i am neutral here and sympathizes with those innocent victims on both sides. Tara, I been a fan of hers for a long time and don’t want her fired, because of her opinions. Just don’t condemn a whole religion for actions of a few. Jewish of Muslim.

Tara Strong has an excellent case and should sue Box Town/Bandit Mill Animation for all they have. This screams discrimination and hate by many people behind the scenes that need to be exposed! When people can try to down play burning innocent people alive and beheading them as being OK. They might want to check to see they still have a soul, I suspect Lucifer owns them.

Abide by the Commandments. Islam recognizes Moses. THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

Welp, that show will not go anywhere now. Plus they didn’t have the balls to fire her to her face. Sad. Hmmmm, someone has family actually involved with that is happening over there, might be allowed a little leeway to voice or vent their opinion or acknowledge what is happening. She is in demand and has been for years, hopefully Marvel (as an example…see what they did to Mr. Gunn before re-thinking it and bringing him back for GoTG3) and others stick by her. It’s not that she will land on her feet, she’s already head and shoulders above this animation company that fired her.

For anyone suggesting she sue, I spent 30+ years in Hollywood and 90% of the people are fantastic, hard working ad invested individuals. I loved the time I spent with them. However, the suits are all demonic. Not just evil, actual demons selling a demonic lifestyle. If you cannot see it yet, I suggest you begin looking as it will pervade your soul.

So because she liked a Twitter (X) post she was fired? And not even fired in person?! What kind of company does that.

She’s better off not working with them. Hope she sues.

  17. Bibi • October 23, 2023 @ 1:51 AM

What a horrible world it’s becoming when you can’t even condemn murder and terrorism. Anyone who is on the side of Hamas can suck a tailpipe (you know who you are)

  18. Joan • October 23, 2023 @ 2:07 AM

Sad to see a couple of shameless antisemitic imbeciles here blame Israel for being attacked. You hateful morons should shut the hell up.

  19. Cullen • October 25, 2023 @ 10:20 AM

Hey Keri, are you okay with Terrorism? Then get your ass out there on the front lines.

  20. Kathy • October 25, 2023 @ 2:08 PM

Thank you for your honesty and your bravery. I dont know why they call it woke because they definitely have their eyes shut. Our lives are in danger and they are here in our country. Thanks to the open borders and military age. Men flooding into our country were nobody even knows where they are right now. Stay strong you have, our support Im sorry it cost you something to speak the truth. We only have freedom of speech when it satisfies the left. Very sad.

She should be sanctioned for spreading Islamic hate like that. I love Tara Strong but she has erred in this instance. Muslims, like ALL religious people, can become radicalized and that is what is happening in Gaza. A minority of the Palestinian people of Gaza (Hamas) have radicalized and attacked Israel. Now, as I have observed on the news, Israel seems to be radicalizing itself and firing indiscriminately into Gaza. Both sides are causing pain and suffering to the other. You’ve been fighting over this land for thousands of years. It’s time to stop.

I am not Israeli or Palestinian, Jewish or Muslim. All I see are people suffering. Please, end the suffering and bring lasting peace to the area.

  22. Anna • October 26, 2023 @ 10:22 PM

For heavens sake don’t fire the woman from her work!!

  23. AJ • October 27, 2023 @ 10:34 PM

Majority are great comments condemning the co. and evil hamas! and Jackson Burke way to go! We need more like U! TY Tara! You’re on the right side of this.

  24. Terry • October 28, 2023 @ 10:55 AM

Good for you, Tara! I guiess your 1st Amendment rights don’t count in Woke Hollywoodville!

  25. L • October 28, 2023 @ 2:56 PM

First amendment rights are no longer safe in any circumstance if they don’t fit the “narrative” of whomever is dictating policy. Look it up: HAMAS is a political and military organization, not a religion. Therefore, no religion was attacked to begin with. Anyone with a lick of sense understands that there is good and bad in every facet of our world. One would be ignorant to condemn any one religion and the millions of devout, based on what HAMAS does.
