Today Show accidentally captions Amy Winehouse video “You Know I’m Dead”

NBC’s Today Show accidentally captioned a video for Amy Winehouse’s song “You Know I’m No Good” as “You Know I’m Dead” during a story about her death at age 27 last Saturday. Weinhouse was cremated yesterday following a private funeral. The cause of her death has not yet been determined. The show apologized and posted an article on its site about the error, but has since removed the apology. It’s not clear whether the mistake was an honest one, or meant as a joke by Today Show staffer.
Somebody was fired I bet….. 🙂

Why isn’t it funny? It wasn’t some innocent kid, it was some mindless drug addict. Would anyone really care if some homeless druggie died? Of course not. People are whinning cause she’s famous, a singer, and not even a good one. Save your sympathies for someone who would have actually cared.
