Candy Cane Lane – Chris (Eddie Murphy) and his family live on Candy Cane Lane. After Chris loses his job, he discovers that the annual neighborhood Christmas home decoration contest will be televised and the winner will get a substantial prize. Desperate to win, he makes a deal with a mischievous elf to better his chances. However, she casts a magic spell that wreaks havoc on the whole town. Debuts December 1 on Prime Video.

Reginald Hudlin talks about working with not only Eddie Murphy, but a cast of comedic talent — including Robin Thede, Nick Offerman and Chris Redd — and how they had the cast and crew laughing even between takes. He reveals that Candy Cane Lane is about how Christmas is more about family and love than snow and decorated trees.

Candy Cane Lane screenwriter Kelly Younger reveals that the story of the movie is based on his own childhood experience growing up on Candy Cane Lane in El Segundo, California. He also describes what it was like to have comedic geniuses like Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross play the lead roles.

Aaron Osborne describes how he came up with the huge 12 Days of Christmas tree that Eddie Murphy’s character puts up on his front lawn in Candy Cane Lane. He also reveals that they filmed the outdoor scenes on Wisteria Lane at Universal Studios, while tour buses went past.

May December – Twenty years after their notorious tabloid romance gripped the nation, married couple Gracie (Julianne Moore) and Joe (Charles Melton) buckle under the pressure when an actress (Natalie Portman) arrives to do research to play Grace in a film about their past. Debuts December 1 on Netflix.

Virgin River: Season 5 Part 2 – Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) adjusts to a different pace of life, Jack (Martin Henderson) works to grow his business, and the town faces new threats as secrets begin to surface in Virgin River. Debuts November 30 on Netflix.

Family Switch – Jess (Jennifer Garner) and Bill Walker (Ed Helms) are doing their best to keep their family connected as their children grow older, more independent, and more distant. When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the family to wake up to a full body switch on the morning of the most important day of each of their lives, can the Walkers unite to land a promotion, college interview, record deal and soccer tryout? Debuts November 30 on Netflix.

A Haunting in Venice – Post World War II, retired Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) is living in Venice from his self-imposed exile. When approached to attend a séance and figure out its secrets, he reluctantly agrees. All is fine until a guest is murdered during the ritual, and Poirot must find who did it. Available November 28 on DVD and Blu-ray.
