Why Britney bombed

Britney Spears arrived over three hours late in Las Vegas on Saturday for her rehearsal for the MTV awards. When she did arrive, rather than go straight to rehearsals, “She went to her hotel room and ordered a bunch of food and some frozen margaritas,” a source told the New York Post. “She came down, like, an hour later with a frozen margarita in her hand.” The source goes on to describe the rehearsal: “The dance number was spectacular—without her… then Britney showed up and refused to do anything. The more complicated dance moves had to be erased because she couldn’t do them.” She then nixed the outfit MTV had selected, opting for her own, more revealing bikini outfit that unfortunately, emphasized her weight gain. She partied at a Las Vegas nightclub until 3 a.m. the night before the show, so it looks like Britney has no one to blame but herself.

Britney didn’t bomb; everyone is talking about her and that, dear friends, is how success is measured in Hollywood these days.
Britney’s legend was assured long ago — this will only add to it.
It disappoints me to find out this information, but then it doesn’t surprise me either. But it’s not the lifestyle I care about – it’s about the music.
