Winona Ryder collapses on flight of suspected O.D.

Winona Ryder collapsed twice in first class on a 10-hour British Airways flight from Los Angeles to London Heathrow airport on Wednesday. The London Telegraph reports that the 37-year-old may have accidentally overdosed on Xanax – which is used to treat anxiety – because she has a fear of flying. The captain of the flight requested a priority landing and was allowed to touch down 22 minutes early. Ryder was immediately taken to Hillingdon Hospital where she was admitted under a fake name. A spokesman for British Airways said: “Our passenger services staff went with her to hospital. We wish her well.” Winona’s rep told the media: “She was there maybe an hour and was released. The bottom line is she is in good health.”

    She looks fine for her age, I think that’s just a bad pic of her, and I don’t think that hairstyle suits her. But really, until this article, I didn’t realize she was that old, I thought she was in her 20’s.
