Susan Ward biography

Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Susan Ward was an animal lover as a child, and grew up wanting to become a
veterinarian. But at the age of 13, while at a local mall, she was spotted by an agent of the prestigious
Ford agency and her modeling career began. While working as a model, she spent the next six
years living with her mother in New York for much of the year.
She graduated from high school where was on the junior high school dance/drill team. They were called
the "Kit-Kats". She also attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe for a semester where she
Ward is perhaps best known for here lead role as the young heroine Meg Cummings on Aaron Spelling's NBC
daytime drama Sunset Beach. Ward was first seen on the popular ABC daytime drama All My Childen,
where she returned a year after her debut as a recurring character. In 1995, she landed the part of
Bree on the Spelling NBC prime-time series Malibu Shores.
Although the show only survived for eight episodes, Ward found other jobs in such films as
Poison Ivy: New Seduction (1997). Next, Ward stars in the thriller The In Crowd, was
released in August 2000.
