Very disappointing. For all the hype I was expecting a much better movie. Lazily written (random chance favouring the heroes as a plot device is way overused -Harry's visions, characters and items that pop up exactly when needed, etc.), Voldemort is a dud of a villain (for all the buildup he ultimately comes off as inept (how many times does he get the wool pulled over his eyes in this film alone?) and far too vulnerable and average as a wizard), simplistic characterization (other than Snape most characters come across as cliches rather than showing any real complexity or development over the course of these films), an anticlimatic and rushed ending (for everything that happened with the ris

SO glad to see they kept as close as possible to the actual book in this movie! they hit all the right nails on the head! so wonderful to see it all come to an end in an entertaining manner, unlike half blood which was quite horribly made into a movie. i loved this movie, only thing missing would have been a bit more use of the 3D technology, more things jumping off the screen at you etc.

This movie was great! But the only cons are that sometimes you get confused because you don't understand a part that you would of understood if you watched ALL the movies again just before going to watch it or if you have read the books which have a better explanation of what happens. Other than that, it was a great movie: great battles, great adventure, great story, great visual effects, etc. So my opinion: It is a great movie but watch the movies again before going to see it or make sure you have read the books!

Goodbye Harry, Ron and Hermione you shall be missed. I was worried they loke most movie 3D was going to ruin it but I was very pleasantly suprised. It only enhanced the movie and made it even more magical. As per usual some things were missing from the book and I wished that the deaths were treated with more importance. But over all the movie was wonderful and the series was given the proper send off.

the movie was good. david yates changed some things in the movie that was not in the book. the special effects were good. and some funny scenes probably the most in any of the potter series, the movie almost makes you cry.

A very satisfying ending. Some of the emotion was lacking in parts (I was left feeling especially lukewarm from Hagrid's character and Professor McGonagall's, both of whom I felt really came alive in the novel), but all the important loose ends were tied up basically as I'd hoped. I had chills, I tensed up, I laughed, I cried -- all was well.

Excellent movie overall, the effects were fantastic and I really liked the way they tied the series together. I am not a fan normally of sci-fi or magical tales but I really loved this movie.

Didn't follow the story, wayyy to many parts were changed; for example they cut over 6 characters. They dumbed it down, they might've had to cut out some parts but for petes sake its a 14a rating so they could've followed the story alot more closing. To anyone to enjoyed the book, watch it but pretend that this isn't following the 7th harry potter book. To those who haven't read the book then expect this to be a Tom Cruise movie (lots on action, no plot)
