It's not as bad as people are saying here.It's not like the classic trilogy, but it's still a great popcorn action movie.Yes Lucas needs to get out of movies,but Harrison's performance saves the day.

4 stars - it had it's moments; and thrills. A good entertainment film for sure. Worth seeing on the big screen.

Since when do Aliens come into the equation of Indiana Jones? The movie takes place around the 1950's and part of the movie seems like the future. It was great plot and great action, but its not the same as the old ones like "Raiders of the Lost Ark." The Aliens just ruined it.

Great movie with a new style of storyline right for that time period (start of cold war) but with a good dose of ancient history true to the old trilogy.

This movie was very good; I am having a really hard time understanding why the "naysayers"/critics have been panning it so much. This movie belongs in the Indiana Jones saga and is *infinitely* better than Temple of Doom, and runs a close second to Raiders of the Lost Ark. I will see this movie again!

I thought the movie was slow. It only picked up at the end. It was alright. The whole alien was interesting and weird.

After 20 years this is the best that the minds of Spielberg and Lucas could come up with? I was hoping that they would acknowledge the years passing and that made Indy would have to struggle doing what he used to do. Perfect opportunity for a Fish Out of Water. But old Indy can still throw and take a punch, lots of them. Okay, you want to relive the past fine, but can’t you keep it at least a little real? Lucas is a lazy hack who lost whatever talents he once had ages ago. He lives in his little kingdom of wealth and isolation. He has no clue anymore. Maybe this will be a step to going to the dvd shop and looking at some GOOD films from long ago.

This movie should have been a made for TV movie. The movie should have never been an Indiana Jones movie. However, they knew people would pay to see the character Indiana Jones one more time. Save your money wait for it to come out on TV.

Big disappointment. It did have some great moments, but the story was so far removed from the original trilogy and came off confusing, pointless, and corny. I wish I could have loved it, but I didn't.

Less than average. Too long, over rated, very slow at times, alot of unbelievable action, like falling off water falls three times without even a scratch!!!!! gimme a brake. The movie over all was very, very bad. Wasted two hours of my life on rubbish.

Thanks for ruining a once-proud movie franchise. Too hokey (goofy CGI groundhogs, surviving a nuclear blast in a fridge, tarzan laBoof, falling down 300ft waterfalls unscathed, cgi alien skeletons and UFOs... i mean come on!) and WAYYY too much CGI. Except for Harrison Ford and the Indy name, this movie was unrecognizable as an Indiana Jones film. Thanks for nothing Mr. Lucas and Mr. Spielberg

To say the plot was disjointed would be generous. If this had been the 1st of the series, I would never have seen the others. Too many inconsistent scenes to mention. Is there anything worse than seeing an old actor (or athlete) past their prime pretending to be young again? Save your money and your time.

I loved the movie. It had the same light hearted fun feel of the first 3 movies. For those of you who didn't like it take things way to seriously. The plots and ideas in the first movies were just the same as this one. Spirts melting peoples faces off, Ripping hearts out of peoples chests without a scratch. Aliens was the next step, plus for the year that it takes place in, the idea makes sense. True Indiana fans will enjoy the movie. But decide for yourself and go see it. *** 3.5 Stars

Awful! The story line makes no sense at all huge holes in the script. Gunpowder is not magnetic! You can't throw gunpowder in the air and follow it to a magnetized corpse. People who die in one scene reappear in the next. Huge continuity errors wrecked amphibious vehicle perfect in next scene. People with heavy russian accents walking around 50's America? No way! Surviving a nuclear blast in a refridgerator? This is a bad Wily Coyote cartoon.

For the most part, I thought the movie stayed true to the originals. It made me laugh but what was with the ending! And what was the tarzan scene? George Lucas always has to over do it with his animation.
