a very solid movie. Good acting, good writing and goos direction. A unique perspective on the economic decline in the north america. Everyone can relate to this movie in one form or another.
It was an OK movie at best. Sure the acting was good but there wasn't really a story behind it other than the typical "corporate hierarchy and corporate profits are more important than the employees" story. The movie was a downer until the last 2 minutes. Even then, it wasn't uplifting. Watch this if you've just lost your job and want to feel even worse.
loved this movie, families holding each other together, showing the greediness of large companies and big execs.....
Very good movie.
Very good movie!!
A very intelligent and honest movie about economic struggles on people of all classes.
a good one
Good movie..smart script and well acted.
Good acting. Very americanized which ruins the ending I believe.
good movie - shows all you need is a good script!!
A very good and intelligent film!!
Ben Affleck is back making solid movies again!
Liked it alot!!
Very good movie that was a tad too long...the acting was great, especially Afleck who seems to back on track delivering great films.
very good movie!!!!!!!!! Really enjpoyed it.
i liked the message
Very intelligent and thought-provoking movie with some great performances by Affleck, Costner, Jones and Nelson. A very underrated film.
Great movie, alot of top A actors. Tommy Lee, loved his part, great actiong. Movie makes you think, about what would one do,if one had the same thing happen.
Excellent movie - loved it!!!
Very good movie about life and the unrealistic wants and pressure we put on ourselves. Very well written and acted.
Nicely done film.
very good flick....very good performances by everyone inmovie carries this movie.
Wow good movie
Very interesting movie about the economic fall-out's effect on the "upper class". Great writing and acting. A tad slow at times, but very good and engrossing.
It has a Hollyood ending
Outstanding acting by all in a convincing portrayal of the lives of victims of downsizing.
surprising good acting
Very good. Accurate portrayal of what happens in a downsizing and the possible reactions from those involved.
Good movie, solid acting ... a look at life in the fast lane.
The movie dragged in parts but the dialogue was smart and the acting was top-notch. A little bit of a depressing outlook on the state of the American economy during the recession but I thought it was realistic and showed some bright moments in the lives of the characters and the power of the human spirit.
Very good movie. A bit slow moving and the ending is not realistic, but still good
Nice to see what I think is an accurate portrayal of how the guys at the top skim the cream and hang the lower echelons out to dry. I liked that it covered the various angles of losing one's job,ie career. Although the ending had a tinge of hope, I wonder how many discouraged workers can relate to that. Great performances by all the leading men.
very very good!
Good. Great acting
Very, very good
I thought the movie was okay, but not something I would recommend seeing on the big screen
This is an insightful movie about downsizing. After Ben Affleck is laid off he continues his high living lifestyle and nearly bankrupts his family. Great acting by Tommy Lee Jones.
Slow, very slow, depressing as expected, but did not get to the heart.
