Brilliant and captivating!! A must see!! The Matrix meets The Return of the Jedi and makes perfect sense. A testament to hope, faith, and goodness.
Although I agree that there is the idea of good vs evil, here are the problems: 1) movie is too long (they overdid it with the shifting) it could be 1/2 hr less 2) very strange and weird; 3) the gospel is missed. 4) God's mercy and love is not 0shown 5) and most important, Jesus is never mentioned even on the message after the movie. 6) the QR code at the end is not to share the gospel buy to pay for other to see this terrible film. If I tell my friends to come and see this movie they will never talk to me again. Stay home, don't waste your money.
The best movie i have seen in years
Considering everything else we've been offered this year, this one was great. In a normal year it would rate 3.5 stars but since 2023 has been the year of woke garbage, I'm giving 5 stars. Good casting, and some solid acting.
Great. Full stop. The world needs more good, less on-screen body count and trash people call entertainment.
Assuming that this is a Christian movie with the theme being the Spiritual battle between Good vs Evil… I agree with the reviewer who stated that Evil was ultimately personified as ‘Satan’ or as many describe as the ‘Enemy’… BUT in a story where the Good proves to be the VICTOR.. they must be identified..and that would be CHRIST Himself- who is in total control over the Enemy whose time on earth is limited. God says ‘ I have overcome the world’ He is the Lion of Judah, Master, Savior and Redeemer. Glorifying God as the ‘Good’ in this movie was what was missing completely. And if you truly know Christ, you know why the authors and producers missed this point.
Another Christian movie. Terrible movie. So dumb I am surprised the Devil didn't have horns and a tail. Sound of Freedom started this...bad trend.
Who is this movie for?
Meh. Very forgettable.
good verses evil, the devil lost ,,
1. Intense, scary, the devil is real and hates us. Be vigilant and always centered on God 2. Sacrificial love - it's Godly and beautiful 3. Worth seeing again, especially after listening to an interview with the writer. Like Nefarious, I got more and more out of the movie each time I saw it (6 times!)
Angel Studios is making fantastic films......so refreshing form the mindless moronic trash coming out.
I loved how he stood up against the devil and did not loose his faith. Good will always prevail.
No totally Biblically correct. Neal McDonough was, however, portrayed a satisfactory devil for the quality of this movie. I wouldn’t watch it again.
I thought this looked like a great sci fi flick to pass some time. No... a sub par slog through religious rhetoric. At least it should be gone quickly from theatres.
I generally like Christian films, and I like the actors in this film but I would suggest rewriting the ending. The choice was made to pick the insane girl to have the good life. Picking either himself or the girl was a choice to cut a deal with the devil instead of choosing God at all cost. So from a Christian stand point the film missed the mark. That said, making a film about the quantum physics concept of Many Worlds and discussing it in biblical terms was very interesting because the devil is not omnipresent and if the concept of unlimited dimensions is true a single being would be very busy harvesting human souls, jumping dimensions.
very well done...!
As a movie goes, I give it 5 stars for the acting and the emotional response it drew from me and all the people in the audience that discussed the movie with me afterwards. Also, it has a great message of good overcoming and conquering evil with the evil being eventually named as the movie progresses as his real name Satan. However the power of God and His name is not proclaimed as Jesus Christ, in the movie and is extremely lacking in giving the glory to His name. The cinematography was good but the Christian theme opportunity to announce and proclaim Jesus Christ was King, conqueror, redeemer, forgiver, counselor, almighty, alpha and omega failed. My prayers is that this movie will open the hardened hearts to those who have fallen away or are lost and give Hope to all those in despair as our government marches its citizens to Sodom and a Gomorrah!
I loved this movie, I was tired but the movie kept me alert.
Really enjoyed this movie. Sort of science fiction meets the book of Job.
Got bamboozled! Saw "drama, thriller", so I checked it out. Left when I saw "angel studios". Christian's forcing their agenda bullshit. You got me! Not next time
Don’t believe the “rotten tomatoes “ score- that’s a lie this is a great movie.
