This movie was a complete waiste of time... Total crap. Boaring but Brad`s Butt looks nice! :)

I am sorry to disappoint the people but despite what others have said about Troy being a good movie is almost accurate. The fact that movie has excellent settings and actors and some of the most realistic CGI up-to-date, it lacks of storyline. This is true because the whole story is mostly "Hollywood" and it takes away from the actual myth from both the Greek and Roman version. This movie is good but it just doesn`t measure up to Russell Crowe`s Gladiator. This movie could have been done much better if it was true to it`s origin.

Honestly, it was amazing. Brad Pitt best performance in acting! It was so good. Wow. For all the people that didn`t appreciate this film. Their crazy! People look up to him, and everything! And I like to mention the point he looks gorgeous in the flim.WOW!!!

Troy is no doubt one of the best movies of the year so far and the whole cast for the movie was just right on. I was really impressed with the movie.

Troy was amazing...the plot the setting mainly everything that went on in the movie!!! It was so interesting the love scenes and the war battles you can just keep going on about it... It`s the type of movie you would want to see over and over again! I just LovE the Movie TrOy.

i think the movie was an unbelievable hit.... b\not very factual but very well done. i agree with the other comments on eric bana... he was the best actor there... and deserves a lot of recognition for his part... trully the best movie ive seen in a while....

Loved it!! A love story, not at all meant to be taken as truthful or accurate, but very enjoyable. Great special effects, fight scences and yummy hunks (read Brad Pitt`s naked tushy)Very entertaining.

Fight scenes were excellent, but the story lacked any factual validity. Very entertaining though, and you go to the movies to be entertained and not to be taught! If you want something factual then go to the library and get the Ilyad.

I was bored, restless and kept looking at the time on my watch! Somehow Brad Pitt`s acting didn`t measure up in this movie and he just didn`t seem big enough to fit my concept of Achilles. I found the multiple battle scenes chaotic: the two armies were so much alike in costume it was difficult to tell them apart. 2 Stars: disappointing!

I think Troy is one of the best historical movies i`ve seen so far. Although, the attention was mostly given to Brad Pitt (oh well why not...he is just HOT). It`s worth seeing or i shall say girls will enjoy it.

Weak. Brad Pitt would do better selling used cars. Sure the stories based on myth but that doesn`t mean it can be done poorly. The trailer for LOTR was better.

Slow start -- got kind of boring. Some parts were very well done. Some good acting by a few actors. Not very memorable -- not worth seeing a second time. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana were very good, but the story lacked real passion.

If you LUUUUUVE Brad Pitt, go see the movie. Otherwise avoid it at all cost because you`ll regret spending almost 3 hours sitting in there wasting your life away. If you love Orlando Bloom in Lord of The Rings, don`t watch this movie because he`s casted as a cowardly prince. Overall a very bad movie, however the commentaries from the audience had made the movie very entertaining. :)

This movie was very well made and all the actors did a great job acting. Especilaly Eric Bana...although I didn`t like the character of Orlando Bloom kuz it was portrayed as a useless prince...Oh well. Overall this movie was worth the money!! Keep in mind though this movie was not even close to the actual mythology. It`s pure entertainment!

If I had seen Troy before the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I might have enjoyed it, you know...cast of thousands, epic battle sequences etc etc. Unfortunately it`s just not as good a movie as any of the LOTR flicks.

Okay - as a movie, it`s either a long piece of low grade entertainment, or a more expensive substitute for a poster of Brad Pitt. If that`s what you want, buy the poster. Those who call it the best bit of acting Brad`s ever done .. think about it. You`re probably right, but what when he sucks like this, what are you saying about the other entries in his, uh, body of work. Maybe he can take a lesson or two. Meantime, if anyone knows anyone in his inner circle, perhaps a word of advice can make to his ear ... he can`t act at all, and certainly can`t pull off an accent. The Trojan Horse virus would`ve been more engaging. I managed to avoid the virus - should`ve done that for the movie too. Odd combo. Action wasn`t good enough for guys, and although B.P. was beefed up, girls in the theatre were laughing at his love scenes. I thought that`s why the theatres did test screenings. Maybe Mr. Anniston`s role should`ve been awarded to David Schwimmer, "Friends`" Ross, as he`s just as plausible when it comes to making it with a hottie like Jennifer ... or Helen of Troy.

I thought the movie was superb. The actors were excellent (even if Brad Pitt kept the same face during the whole movie; the "look-to-the-horizon-while-pouting" face...) and the landscapes were incredible. I must admit it was a bit long (usually the longer the better for me, I.E. LOTR) but not that bad for length. Eric Bana was awesome, Diane Kruger was soooooooo gorgeous. My boyfriend and I were drooling (lol). So, in conclusion, I loved this movie and I can`t wait until we can buy it.

I think it was the BEST movie I have seen. The fighting scenes were good and the actors acted well. The director put lots of effort in the movie and it turned out great!

I thought it was pretty lame that they didnt stay more true to Homer`s account of the Trojan War. There were so many discrepencies with the film that i found myself wondering why they even bothered calling it "Troy." Some errors I picked up on were 1. the death of Menaleus and Ageamenon. In the movie both of these characters gets killed, however, the original story is that they both surive the war, and Menaleaus takes Helen back with him to Sparta, and Agamenon gets killed by his wife, Clytemnestra, upon arrive home back in Greece. Another error, was that between Alchilles and Petrocis. In the film, Petrocis is said to be Alchilles` "cou

I enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would. Troy was visually stunning to look at and the battle scenes were well filmed. Eric Bana and Peter O`Toole gave terrific performances as did Brian Gleeson. Orlando Bloom took a risk in playing the anti-hero in the film...a weakling who sacrificed his homeland for love and did a commendable job. Paris` romance with Helen played by Diane Kruger could have been more intense or fully developed to make the audience understand why so much was sacrificed. Brad Pitt was a very well developed Achilles but was basically a one note performance. I would give the movie 3.5 stars...an entertaining summer

AMAZING!!! Take ur girlfriend to this, it got a love story, action, excitement and some of the best costume/battle scenes ever!!! Great acting, you`ll love every minute (2 1/2 hrs), enjoy.

I thought Troy was a good movie. As long as you enjoy it for what it is - a Hollywood blockbuster - it`s a good film. Eric Bana was great in it...even more than Brad Pitt.
