In this interview, Almost Christmas stars Danny Glover and Mo'Nique discuss what they hope audiences will take away from their film. Danny says he wants viewers to enjoy themselves while watching Almost Christmas and learn to approach every day like a celebration. He also chats about "the great" Gladys Knight, whom he shares two scenes with in the film.
Mo'Nique addresses what working with "a living legend" like Danny was like, and how although the cast enjoyed every moment with him, the actors knew to respect his time. She says she learned a lot from him, especially how to take naps between takes, and she also reveals why she thinks her character Aunt May is so appealing.
