The Musketeer Movie Synopsis

Based on Alexandre Dumas' classic tale The Three Musketeers, D'Artagnan (Chambers) is on a mission to join the King's elite guards, The Musketeers, and seek out the man who killed his parents 14 years earlier. Soon after arriving in Paris, he meets the conniving Cardinal Richelieu (Rea) and the head of Richelieu's armed forces, Febre (Roth).

Meanwhile, when D'Artagnan finds his father's companions, Aramis (Moran), Athos (Kremp) and Porthos (Speirs) (a.k.a. the Three Musketeers), hopeing they will help him become a musketeer, he instead finds old bitter men stripped from their commission.

While getting in and out of trouble in Paris, he falls in love with the beautiful chambermaid, Francesca (Suvari). Francesca is a friend of the Queen of France (Deneuve) and asks D'Artagnan to help the Queen prevent a war between France and England.

FOR COOL

the fight scenes were cool but, other than that the film sucked

not the best version of the book i`ve seen!!! the disney one is the best by far!! but i have one question, why can`t the movie actually be based on what happens in the book, not what the director wants to happen?
