We Were Soldiers Movie Synopsis

Recounting the true story of one of the most savage battles in U.S. history, Lt. Col. Hal Moore (Gibson) and 400 of his men touched down on November 14, 1965, at a clearing in Ia Drang Valley, Vietnam - - a place known as "The Valley of Death" -- and found themselves surrounded by 2,000 North Vietnamese soldiers.

Based on the book We Were Soldiers Once... and Young by Hal Moore and Joseph Galloway.

1 st rate story line and action as well

...i love the movie very much...it really gives the viewers a clear picture of the situation in Vietnam. It is very helpful to us students, especially that our major is History. Very good movie!
