Drew Barrymore working hard to lose weight

Drew Barrymore is ”working her ass off” to lose her baby weight. The Blended actress – who has daughters Olive, two, and Frankie, seven months, with husband Will Kopelman – insists she isn’t rushing to shed the excess pounds and gets frustrated by women who claim they snapped back into shape straight after giving birth. She said: ”It took nine months to build. It should take nine months to get off. I wanted fettuccini alfredo. I didn’t want a barbell. I was like, ‘Don’t talk to me about how fast and fabulous you are or it came off. That was not my experience. I’m having to work my ass off until I even think about getting it off.”

The 39-year-old beauty admits it can be tough juggling the needs of two young children. She told People magazine: ”It’s a balance of who gets the attention, and it’s a tightrope. But it’s also a wonderful, amazing journey to raise two kids that love each other.”

Drew adores being a mother and says: ”It’s amazing. It’s the driving force behind how I live my life.”
