Owen Wilson must really love dogs

Owen Wilson in Marley & MeOwen Wilson‘s last big flick was Marley & Me, about a man, his wife and their unruly Labrador dog. Next up for the comic actor will be providing voice of a Great Dane in the movie adaptation of the long-running comic strip Marmaduke. The movie will follow the Winslow family as they move from Kansas to Orange County with their dog Marmaduke, a slobbery pooch who creates chaos wherever he goes, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  Wilson most recently provided a voice for Fox Searchlight’s upcoming animated Wes Anderson pic Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Marmaduke is scheduled to be released June 2010.

    I think owen’s awesome. Marley and Me was funny but a tear jerker. Whatever the role, Wilson’s quirkiness adds a special quality…
