Watch stolen from James Gandolfini’s lifeless wrist

According to an insurance form filled out by James Gandolfini‘s family, which was recently obtained by TMZ, someone stole a $3,000 Rolex submariner watch either from the actor’s wrist or from his hotel room shortly after he suffered a heart attack last June. Gandolfini died in a hotel bathroom in Rome and it’s believed the watch was stolen during the commotion that occurred during the emergency situation as paramedics and hotel staff were coming in and out of his room. According to the form, there was no evidence of forced entry and there was no damage to the room – it’s implied that the watch was actually taken from his body following death. He’s pictured here in November 2012 wearing a Rolex, but it hasn’t yet been confirmed that this is the one that was stolen.

    Sad if it’s true. Disrespectful.

Heartless. Hope karma will soon catch up to them.

I’m sorry to say, but the watch on Gandolfini’s wrist is not a Rolex. It is an Omega Seamaster 2254. Easy mistake to make, for the uninformed
