Paul Dano

Four words: There Will Be Blood. Paul Dano played twin brothers Paul and Eli Sunday in this epic drama film about greed, power and Oil! It’s difficult to steal a scene from the massively talented (and not at all underrated) Daniel Day-Lewis, but Dano certainly did it. Yet, he wasn’t nominated for a single major Hollywood award. The problem seems to lie in the fact that he often stars alongside better known, more widely recognized actors. And then he’s all but forgotten. The actor has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his role as Beach Boy Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy (a solo starring role), so maybe the tides are finally turning for the young Dano.
