it's like castaway... a one man show. good acting, but the story is not up there

If a movie has little depth or plot, it should at least have some action and some decent effects. . . . this movie has none. I am very dissapointed that will smith would put his name on this movie. The animals looked fake, no real action, no depth at all. after the bloody twenty minutes of advertising I almost left but I stayed, waiting for a plot that never developed. Truly dissapointed.
this was one of the most amazing movies i have ever seen in well all my years of watching movies the commercials lookd not to good so i hesitated on seeing it not that i have seen it im glad i did

Sure, the story seems to develop pretty slowly, the hero is all alone with his dog for most of the movie timeline (or so it seems). No wonder there are very few dialogs... The atmosphere is wonderfully created. Amazing acting play, great story. It was great to see it IMAX.
