Great effects, story is average. Worth the extra 3$ for the 3D experience.
the movie was great it had awsome 3D visuals and the story line was great
Loved it....I remember watching the original as a kid and am glad I've seen this one in 3D
EXCELLENT :) I remember watching the original as a child and it was better than that one
Better Plot than the 1st movie. Awesome Digital Effects during the Light Cycle fight! A slow start as it sets up the story but then the plot moves quicker. Too bad it was not filmed for 3D, The sequel better be!!
Loved it. Music was amazing too.
Almost as good as LITTLE FOCKERS.
Although the effects and the Daft Punk score are good, the story is dreadful.
Awesome!!
Very cool effects.
Great effects. It was amazing to introduce a new generation to the Tron films.
awesome movie lots of action and if you diden,t understand the first tron if you see this movie you will understand the first TRON
good effects , story line ok
a bit slow at times
Wonderful storyline and vivid special effect and 3d work.....
Enjoyed this movie, but wish I had seen it in 3D.
Great movie! fits well with the previous story line and awesome graphics! loved that daft punk made a cameo!
Tron to the power of 2
Weak story. Disappointed.
Not really my type of movie but i actually enjoyed it. liked the 3D
TRON: Legacy is a movie filled with action and a plot that will be sure to keep you on your toes. Back in the 80s, Kevin Flynn a software engineer and the founder of ENCOM disappears out of no where. 20 years later, his son has taken on the task of trying to find his father. With a pinch of romance, inexplicable action, and fun for the whole family, TRON: Legacy proves to be nearly as clever and fun as the original.
great continuation of teh original Tron and the graffix well well done and keeping Jeff Bridges was another great aspect of the movie Olivia Wilde did a great job in here role as well.
In general, over-hyped and frequently boring, in addition there was very little 3D effects...with most of the movie in normal 2D...RAN
Terible movie absolutly terible. No point for 3D. sound affects ok I guess. I would never reccomend it to anyone. Did I forget to say it's terrible, boring. Ok so maybe the first little bit had action but the middle was just "ladi ladi la la ladi" Terrible. if anyone wants to see i would say no. Your just to dissapoint yourself for paying so much money for boring nnonsense!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!
Terible Movie hardly any action except for the begging and the end but the middle was just like "la la la la". Boring movie no 3D afects at all. Sound afects were alright but me personnaly i think it's more boring then princessses.
Just 2 words, Awsome movie
worst movie I've ever seen
not worth the extra money to see it in 3D, but the visual effects were interesting, music score was great, and i ended up liking the movie more than i thought
Very exciting! Great soundtrack. Wish it had more 3D effects.
Garbage!!!
Walking into the movie theatre ready to watch Disney's new "Tron Legacy" in 3D I have to say I wasn't expecting much from the film. Well I was proven wrong. "A video game on drugs" that's the best way to describe this movie. With a "Daft Punk" soundtrack and continuous neon light show you almost feel as though you are in some sort of virtual night club. 20 years after his father Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) goes missing, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) begins his search to find out what happened to is father. It's while visiting his office where he is transported to the universe created by his father. It is where he will have to fight to reach a portal that will bring them back to earth. Quorra
Exciting movie. Great visuals. Fantastic score. De-aged Jeff Bridges works (most of the time). Only down side is the villain's plan seems impractical.
Good 3d special effects - average story from 4 of us who saw it
Good movie, cool lights and music.
"Tron: Legacy" can be best described as visually stunning, especially the 3D world of The Grid and its lovely ladies Olivia Wilde (Quorra) and Beau Garrett (Gem). It was a clever decision by the Disney to use 3D only for the portion of the movie in the digital world of The Grid as that's where the effects, action, and environment really took advantage of the technology. However the CG used to recreate people's likenesses (like a young Jeff Bridges), still needs a little bit of work as it's not quite perfect yet. The only real disappointment for me is that the movie's story is rather weak and I guess that's something the sequel has in common with its original. Both movies featured cutting
It was confusing @ times and, like last year's AVATAR, nothing came through the 3-D glasses! However, this still was a big improvement for a sequel "28 and a half years" in the making with GREAT music and special effects!
An amazing movie, thoroughly enjoyed it!
Overall it was a very fun movie. There could have been more of a focus of Tron himself and what happens at the end but that could also leave it open for a sequel. I think everyone did a fine acting job especially Bridges and Sheen. This will also cement Hedlund in the studios mind as he did not let the role overpower him. The effects were very well done. Although I am opposed to 3D altogether, I enjoyed the effects. Finally the music was amazing! Kudos to Daft punk. It made me want to go out and buy the soundtrack right away.
Very confusing and hard to follow.
The music was in sync with the actions of the characters, from fights to just ordinary walking. This movie was a great watch and I would watch again.
A true sequel to the 1982 fantasy classic, Tron. Good character development with an intelligent, relevant script.
very good movie in 3d
awesome movie
Awesome special affects, visually stunning, couldn't look away. The story and dialogue were slightly lacking but, overall really entertaining!
A film that stays true to its roots in the original film which makes for a mixed result. The movie is visually stunning but the story is paper thin & could have been fleshed out more (just like the original).
Even though the effects were amazing, the story was predictable and not well acted. If you want to be blown away by the special effects, check it out. Otherwise, consider it a renter at best
Great special effects.
Saw an advanced screening of this movie & I really enjoyed it. I didn't watch the 1st Tron but i was still able to follow through. The visual effects were amazing especially in 3D!!
a worthy successor to the original, if Possible see it in Imax, definitely worth it.
Average plot but great special effects.
