Alec Baldwin considering political career

By Alexandra Heilbron on January 6, 2011 | 9 Comments

Alec Baldwin has announced he’s considering entering politics. Because Baldwin, a fervent left-wing Democrat (he threatened to leave the U.S. if Bush was elected in 2000), is so vocal about his politics, he was asked by CNN during an interview this week whether it was something he would consider. He replied: “The answer is: Yes, it’s something that I am very, very interested in. People would say to me all the time, ‘Why would you want to do that?’ And sometimes I don’t want to do it because to leave what I am doing now [acting] would be extremely painful. To quit now when it really feels good and doing it feels good would be an enormously difficult thing to do.” However, whether or not he would be as successful a politician as he is an actor remains to be seen — not everyone loves Alec Baldwin. From his messy divorce; the threats he directed at his young daughter; his revelation that he contemplated suicide; to his mysterious hospitalization following a 911 call from his daughter saying he’d threatened to take pills, he has a somewhat sketchy track record in the public eye. He doesn’t keep his promises – for instance, the whiner did not leave the States when Bush was elected, so how can voters believe anything he says? He’s a fruitcake.

Hey Renard….you have to be a liar and make false promises and empty threats to be a politician so that you’ll blend in with the rest of the wallflowers. Baldwin is already qualified in those areas. lol
