Alec Baldwin and his new fiancée may be able to rest a little easier now that his stalker has been caught. Genevieve Sabourin, a 40-year-old actress from Montreal, was arrested on Sunday evening after showing up at his Manhattan apartment building asking to have him buzzed. Baldwin was in the Hamptons at the time but he received a call from his doorman to tell him about the visitor. The actor immediately recognized her name and asked that she not be let in. The police were then called and the woman was arrested for aggravated harassment and stalking. Baldwin first met Sabourin in 2002 on the set of the film The Adventures of Pluto Nash — Baldwin was playing a small role and Sabourin was a unit publicist. The pair reportedly met a couple times for dinner and according to police, the woman is claiming that she and Alec were in fact lovers and that she wants to have his baby. When her desperate emails went unanswered, she allegedly tracked him down in the Hamptons in March and even followed him to an event at the Lincoln Center several days later. While Baldwin admits he took her out, he maintains that it was strictly professional and that there was never any physical relationship.
