Ben McKenzie joins How to Make Love Like an Englishman

The O.C. alum Ben McKenzie joins a cast including Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba in the Tom Vaughn-directed How to Make Love Like an Englishmen. The romantic comedy, scripted by Matthew Newman, follows a Cambridge University professor who is forced to reevaluate his hedonistic lifestyle when he meets an academic contemporary. However, this transformation gets underway after he has impregnated her stepsister. Ben is continuing his trend of balancing television and film following the end his cop drama Southland, which ran for five seasons on TNT. He recently signed a talent deal with Warner Bros. TV that includes a development component and is also signed to star in Richard L. Fox’s directorial debut The Swimmer. He also starred alongside an ensemble cast including Alice Eve, Rashida Jones, Aaron Paul and Helen Hunt in the indie flick Decoding Annie Parker.

    I had such a huge crush on him in The O.C. Haven’t liked anything else he’s done but hopefully he starts getting some great roles. Looking forward to this one!
