The nine-month custody battle-turned media frenzy between Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline has finally come to a conclusion. OK! magazine reports that both Spears and Federline reached a settlement agreement late Thursday night. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s attorney, outlines the custody terms (pending the approval of the commissioner) for the battling couple’s two sons: “Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time.” But don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Britney in court—until her kids turn 18, she can fight for more custody rights as long as she remains healthy. Britney first lost custody of her children in January following her hospitalization for an apparent mental breakdown.
If they’ve reached a settlement, does that really classify as “giving up”? Or is is another ploy by the MEDIA for an eye-catching headline??
Then they go and give her the benefit of the doubt by referring to her flipout as an “apparent mental breakdown”!?!?!?!
Hey , cool!! My comment went in at “420”!!
gee I wonder what you do in your spare time poppa john
I actually don’t partake in the 420 thing, but I’m quite aware of it, I’ve got lotsa friends that do…
i feel so bad for her. i hope she gets better faster and gets sole custody of her kids. she would ve gotten it had she not been sick. kevin ferderline is a joke and a half.
Those poor boys don’t stand much of a chance, do they.
I’m happy for her.
It’s good to see her finally acting like an adult.
i hate you all
At least you don’t play favourites…
Ok, apparently double is back. The comments made in my name on the 18th at 9:17, and on the 19th at 6:14 were not mine. I don’t know why this idiot gets pleasure in doubling other people, but whatever. At least the comments weren’t too bad, although I’d not say Brit is acting like an adult. The second double comment is actually pretty funny though!
I’m extremely proud of Britney for having the fortitude to return the focus to where it belongs — on the music.
I think it’s pretty sad that she would give up on her kids like that… even if she is sick she has the right to see her kids more …they can just be supervised visits
Let’s keep her children out of this.
anonymous…the whole storyline is about the custody battle? what r u on about?
Well, the children will be with her for 3 days and 2 nights each week so, that’s not too bad.
Give the kids to Jamie Lynn to raise; problem solved.
No No Better yet give them to Micheal Lohan..
Better than that….give them to Michael Jackson!!!!
creepy
