Captain America sequel gets release date

Walt Disney Studios announced a release date today for the Captain America sequel — it will hit theaters on April 4, 2014. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote the screenplay for Captain America: The First Avenger, will pen the sequel, which picks up where The Avengers, which releases on May 4, 2012, leaves off, as Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans) continues his affiliation with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D and struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.

I think they did a decent job on the first movie. I can’t wait to see the Avengers and see how he does.

the first film was classic entertainment, like an old style hollywood romp, with great sets, really good 3D, and a great story to boot. i went to see it in 3D twice, so am stoked for a sequel by the same peeps.

it was kind of a cliffhanger for the first movie, so i hope the second will explain more. cant wait for it in 3D

Love love loved the first one, Chris Evans was amazing! The story was great and the 3D fantastic. The visual effects were stunning. Definitely looking forward to both The Avengers and Captain America 2
