Catherine Zeta-Jones says it "felt great" to be back on stage performing "All That Jazz" again. The 43-year-old actress opened up the musical tributes at this year's Oscars with a performance of the famed song from the 2002 musical film adaptation of the popular
Chicago stage musical and admits she was in her element while doing it. Catherine - who won the Best Supporting Actress gong in 2003 for her role as Velma Kelly in
Chicago - said: "I loved it. It was great to be back after 10 years. I've done it in some charity performances but nothing with the 24 dancers and I really tried to recreate that."
The Welsh beauty was also thrilled when British singer Adele won the Best Original Score Oscar for her Bond theme
Skyfall.
She said: "I was so proud. I was on the stage when she got the trophy. I was thrilled."
Other musical performers included Jennifer Hudson, who belted out the
Dreamgirls hit "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" before Hugh Jackman then opened the
Les Misérables segment by singing Best Original Score-nominated track "Suddenly." The full main cast of
Les Misérables - including Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne - then performed the medley hit "One Day More" to close the segment.

Celebrities show their support for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after their explosive interview with Oprah, in which they discussed a number of topics.
It’s so obvious she was lip-syncing! At the end of the song, her lips weren’t even following the words!
I felt sorry for her cause she didn’t get a standing O like the reast of the songs did. Or at least I didn’t see that. She looks awesome for 43! I think she did a great job and there was no lip sync. Cause when she turned around or moved the microphone the voice was softer and almost disappeared. Also, that’s maybe why she didn’t do any hard dance moves so she wouldn’t be out of breath.
They should make CHICAGO 2!
She totally popped….no lip sync
I don’t care, I loved the movie so I enjoyed it!
