The Super Bowl is not just for fans of football anymore. Many people tune in just for the entertaining ads, including ones that promote upcoming blockbuster films. We’ve rounded up movie trailers that aired during the 2024 Super Bowl, from blockbuster movies such as John Krasinski’s IF and A Quiet Place: Part One. The teaser trailer for IF is aimed especially at fans of The Office. As Ryan Reynolds talks about his upcoming film IF, John Krasinski joins him — but it’s not really John. It all started with a prank Jim (Krasinski) played on Dwight (Rainn Wilson) during the episode of The Office titled Andy’s Ancestry from 2012, in which an Asian friend of Jim’s, played by Randall Park, comes into the office and pretends to be Jim. Watch as the prank continues in this teaser trailer for IF!
The “fake John Krasinski” once again annoys and confuses Ryan Reynolds in this ad for IF, which shows a little more of what the movie is about.
