Demi Moore wants Susan Boyle at her party

It seems that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are big fans of Scottish singer Susan Boyle. They’ve offered her £30,000 (approx. $48,000 USD) to sing at a party for their wedding anniversary. The celebrity couple’s Hollywood party will take place in September, according to The Mirror. “Demi and Ashton think Susan is absolutely brilliant, in a fantastically unique and kitschy way,” a source told the paper. “Demi joked to Ashton about booking Susan to sing for him. She wanted her to lift up her skirt and flash her knee, the way she did with Piers Morgan. The idea is a cocktail party at home in Los Angeles, the highlight being Susan singing.” Boyle has not yet responded to the request, but since her release late last week from The Priory clinic, which she called “a little holiday,” Boyle told News of the World: “I feel bloody fantastic. I want to take on the world. I’ve got my sleeves up ready. From now on there’s nae crap.”

Demi Moore’s memoir, Inside Out, released Tuesday. It offers revealing anecdotes about her life, including her alcohol relapse, blaming it on Ashton Kutcher.
actually, that would probably be a tasteful, nice start for her aside from Britain’s got talent. Even though they are big celebs, I don’t think they are trashy. She’d also probably meet some good contacts there.

i think ashton kutcher and demi moore would be nice to her if she came to sing for them. i really hope she takes them up on her offer, not only is that almost more money than ive made in an entire year (lol…) its also a good amount to get her career started. 🙂
I don’t know if I’m understanding “kitschy” right but it kind of sounds like Demi thinks Susan Boyle is a joke. Especially with that bit about getting her to flash some knee. I think Susan is seriously wonderful and I hope she keeps her dignity insted of becoming a clown for patronizing celebrities.
I agree with lily. It does sound like they consider her a joke. She’s a nice lady with a great voice and stage presence and should be singing in big halls for tons of people, not a sideshow at a Hollywood party.
If Demi and Ashton want a few laughs at their wedding anniversary party, might I suggest they show highlights from their so-called “acting” careers and leave the talented individuals alone.
