Although Dennis Hopper is in the terminal phase of cancer, the actor has filed for divorce. According to Starpulse, Hopper wants to divorce his wife, Victoria, after thirteen years of marriage. According to documents filed in court, the star is putting an end to his marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The 73-year-old Speed star is planning to provide financial support to Victoria and their six-year-old daughter, Galen. Last year, Hopper revealed that he has been battling prostate cancer since 2002. Recently, the actor received bad news when he learned that the cancer had spread to his bones. Before the spread of the disease, doctors were hopeful that the star would beat the cancer. Dennis Hopper’s nine-year-old daughter has inherited almost three million dollars. The actor was in the middle of an acrimonious divorce from his wife Victoria Duffy when he died in 2010 and although a pre-nuptial agreement ensures she received nothing…
Well, that’s really nice, isn’t it? It’s all about the will now huh? I wonder if they were having problems before he became this ill…?
Maybe he thinks this way it will be less painful for her…if he can make her hate him..??
It’s sad when a person has to do this, maybe the cancer has gone to his brain and his decision making is not great, or someone is putting him up to this because they want to be sole heir to his estate. There is probably a lot of money involved.
I’ve seen cancer patients and when cancer spreads, their decisions and choices are questionable.
Having numerous members of family and extended family suffer through terrible and all kinds of cancer their thought process was not good. It was very questionable.
When cancer spreads it is terrible as both the treatment and the cancer itself can do so many terrible things.
Maybe Victoria told him about her infidelities what about that? And Hopper is hopping mad about it. Or he wants to go to heaven without the bounds of marriage. Good for him.
Was she unfaithful? Either way, he is going to die…soon so, I can’t see why he would put his 6 year old daughter through this…at a time like this.
agree Me Jennifer….smart comment
