Bones star Emily Deschanel gave birth to her first child, a boy, on Wednesday. She and her husband, David Hornsby, who married in September 2010, have named the baby Henry. Deschanel, who has been a vegan for 18 years, continued to maintain her meat and dairy-free diet while pregnant. Her pregnancy was written into the plot of her crime drama series, Bones, co-starring David Boreanaz, which returns for a seventh season on November 3rd on the Fox network. Hornsby, who starred in the series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, has a new CBS series debuting this fall called How to Be a Gentleman, while Emily’s sister Zooey Deschanel also has a new series, New Girl, which launched this week on Fox.
