Frankie Muniz couldn’t see during mini-stroke

Days before his 27th birthday, former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz tweeted that he had suffered a mini-stroke. After Malcolm in the Middle’s last episode aired in 2006, Muniz has let his acting career take a back seat, focusing instead on his passions: writing, producing, playing music and race car driving. Frankie told People.com that he was riding his motorcycle when his vision began to blur, saying, “I felt like I was getting stabbed in the head – the worst headache you could ever think of. I couldn’t see anything.” He was taken to an Arizona hospital where he was held for observation before being released, but is still under a doctor’s care. A mini-stroke, otherwise known as a transient ischemic attack, can be very serious. Muniz, who admitted he eats “like a 7 to 10-year-old-kid,” added, “They say it is usually a warning of maybe what could happen in the future. It’s changed my mentality when I’m going to eat now.” ~Brandon Bastaldo

That’s way too young for a stroke! What the hell is he eating?

I had a similar experience and was told it was a “silent migraine”, not a stroke. It gave me the blurry vision and an episode of aphisia (disturbance in formulation and comprehension of language.[2] This class of language disorder ranges from having difficulty remembering words to being completely unable to speak, read, or write. Aphasia is usually linked to brain damage and the most common brain injury that causes aphasia is a stroke.)

TIA can happen at any age. It doesn’t mean he was doing anything that would be considered any more unhealthy than someone who hasn’t had one. For crying out loud, babies can have strokes.

Actually, only bad babies have strokes.

Watch ‘Super-size Me.’ , maybe stay away from all the fast food which I’m sure he means.
Everyone says life is short and live in the moment etc.. but the moment something like this happens, it can make you re-think it. You can still enjoy life and have fun without eating quite that bad or smoking or excessive drinking etc.. Moderation is key. Preachy eh lol.
