Cineplex Community DayThis Saturday (November 4, 2023), Cineplex Community Day returns for its 11th year, bringing together Canadians of all ages for a morning filled with free family-friendly movies.

This year’s lineup of family-friendly films includes Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (English/French); Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (English/French); Jumanji: The Next Level (English); The Angry Birds Movie 2 (English); Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (French); and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (French).

This year for the first time, Cineplex’s Community Day is expanding to include a morning of free gaming at Playdium and The Rec Room — $1.00 from every food and beverage order and game band purchase throughout the day at the game rooms will support BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada). Every guest will receive a two-hour, non-redemption game band upon entry.

Cineplex theatres across Canada will open their doors at 9:00 a.m. (local time) offering a morning of free movies, then they’ll return to regular programming in the afternoon. Guests attending Cineplex Community Day can also indulge in their favorite cinema snacks including popcorn, soft drinks, and select candy for just $2.50 each throughout the morning.

Guests can reserve their seats in advance for free online, on the Cineplex app, or in theatres on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for a list of participating theatres and showtimes. ~Alexandra Heilbron
