Grammy nominees announced

jonas_bros.jpgThe nominees for the upcoming Grammy Awards were announced Wednesday night from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on CBS during a concert hosted by rapper LL Cool J and country star Taylor Swift. The event featured performances by Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and John Mayer. Receiving the most nominations was rapper Lil Wayne, while Kanye West, Jay-Z and Coldplay each received six nominations. Other nominees include The Jonas Brothers, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, Pink, Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Eagles, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Jordin Sparks. The 51st Annual Grammy Awards can been seen February 8th on CBS.

    almost…though not quite as exciting as Barbara Walters’ list…

    maybe Kanye will win and the show will have to run over into 36 hours….and that’s just for his very humble acceptance speech

    Even if Kanye receives all his awards, he’ll gripe about why others didn’t get theirs.
