Gwyneth ordered to “shut up” by Madonna

Gwyneth Paltrow & MadonnaAccording to the latest reports, Madonna wants her BFF Gwyneth Paltrow to be quiet when it comes to the Material Girl’s messy divorce from director Guy Ritchie. Apparently, Madonna went as far as to slap Gwyneth with a gag order after her pal went dishing to the press about how she’s been “helping Madonna through her divorce.” She apparently said to Paltrow, “If you want to help me and be supportive of me, then keep your mouth SHUT! Say nothing about me or my divorce.”

Why doesn’t Madonna follow her own advice and keep her own mouth SHUT

    Well said, Dave.

The ways she barks demands at people, it’s a wonder that she has any friends at all. She’s a freak if you ask me.

Imagine the rage she will be in if/when her kids start to rebel!

i think gwyneth probably just tolerates her. and what’s wrong with saying that she’s been helping her? a divorce to anyone else normal would be a difficult thing…

I’m actually surprised by the friendship.
I’m sure Gwyneth can do much better.

I agree, I can’t believe Madonna actually has any friends. It must be a pity friendship.

I guess the way she treats people nobody is surprised that she is going through another failed marriage. Keep up the good work Madonna.

Some people are not cut out for marriage. She’s one of them.

Madonna is used to being in control of everything and that’s what has made her an amazing business woman. But she can’t separate that from her personal life. Now she is trying to tell Guy what to do with the children when he has them like he has no say in what happens with his child (Rocco). Her obsessive exercising and diet is her way of controlling her aging process. She is hard working and just can’t seem to relax to let things just happen. She is too afraid to lose that control. She doesn’t want Gwyneth to speak because who knows what she’ll say and what could possibly “ruin” her image.

Once again, all I can say is Who Cares??!!

Its time for Madonna to just fade away into oblivion. Her ego is too big for this planet — Gwyenth, you can do better. I’m sure she treats you the way she treats everyone else, and that is NO BFF.

That’s our material girl….Shut the hell up about her divorce that is a laugh! She is in the press her hubby is in the press. She had a very public affair with a Yankee ball player that split up his marriage and it was all over the NY press, just because Guy Richie didn’t dump her ass then doesn’t mean that it was any less public knowledge. I hope he takes her for all she’s worth and she gets nothing out of him!

The winnner in all of this is Ritchie… for some reason all the movies he made when he was marred to Mad-onna were awful (especially the one he put her in) now that they are not together he throws RocknRolla at us. She is like the black hole of talent.

man shes such an idiot. if its your friend who cares what she tells people? shes your friend you should trust that she wouldnt say anything that is going to ruin your IMAGE. also, i dont think its right all these celebs can put a GAG on people when they do things wrong or when they are going through things so that no one else knows the real story. none of us REGULAR people get the same treatment. my friends tell whoever they want whatever they want about me, you dont see me taking them to court lol

  18. tributegirl • November 16, 2008 @ 7:15 PM

Well, apparently she’s even trying to convince Gwyneth to move to New York! Trying to uproot her, just to make the material girl happy!

  19. Demigod • November 17, 2008 @ 12:40 AM

Control freaks with money can do all that lol

Ok, I must have missed something. How is it Madonna is being trashed when her so called best friend (Gwyneth Paltrow)thought it was a great idea to discuss her personal problems in a public venue? What, Paltrow rather than promote her latest none existent movie/project, could not come up with something better to discuss? Then again, I guess you cannot trust another individual that is a prostitute for popularity. Celebrities as friends = publicity stunt in the making.

Kaci – the most efficient person at ruining Madonna’s image is… Madonna. Associating with someone with a normal family, real talent and some CLASS (like Paltrow) is good fortune she should be soon expecting to run out of… For the Paltrow haters – i don’t imagine she went running to the paper to let them know she’s helping with the divorce, it’s more likely that one of the many people who follow her regularly began asking more pointed questions regarding Madonna’s trials, to which she likely downplayed the reality of it, saying only that she’s trying to help madonna during this tough time.

I agree, this is the best possible thing that could happen to Guy – save for Madonna going nuts, and publicly admitting what a controlling cow she’s been to the PEOPLE in her life.

Oh, I’m not agreeing with what she’s doing, just trying to figure it out. I think Gwyneth could do much better for friendships.
