While in Toronto to promote her new CD, Dignity, teen pop sensation Hilary Duff was doing a live interview on the MuchMusic show Live@Much when a man in the crowd outside the studio started shouting at the teenage star, allegedly vowing to kill her. Police officers quickly responded and tackled the man, who was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans, and led him away. The incident happened meters from an outdoor platform where Duff was to greet fans moments later.
that is very mean
I hope that Hilary is okay. You find all kinds of people all over the world. I hope one Canadian doesn’t stop her from coming to Canada.
He should have been charged for a death treat.or was he?
I wanted to shout out a thanks to Toronto Police to responding so quickly and apprehending the individual who uttered threats. This is happening far too often in our great city, giving it a negative image.
I also wanted to let Hilary know that she should see this as an isolated incident. Don’t let one maniac ruin you greeting the fans that love you.
Jennie
is hilary duff ok what excally happened and why did he want to kill her?
i think that there are too many nutbals running around loose in the world and for this guy who was caught in time before anything bad happen to hilary,i only hope he will get time behind bars and a long sentence i hope and then maybe treatment .it sounds like this person is sick ..thanks ..donnie
Why did the police have to tackle him was he holding a gun or just yakking isn’t it odd that police are becoming the guards for these people and not the public they work for?
People are really stupid out there they have nothing
better to do. Me I really would like to see one of
her concerts but my daughter and I have not been to
successful in getting a ticket because they sell out. I work two jobs and I am at a day job when they
go on sale. Now back to the guy people like that have to much time on their hands. Now why would he
kill her what has she done to anybody or the society
itself. Tell her to get intouch with me I would like
to meet her in person, she is awsome.
sincerely yours,
A fan Lou
If the Canadian Government would dish ot more money for mental illness these people would be were they belong in a mental hospital getting the treatment they need instead of being on the streets threatning people with death, these people belong in the hospital not in jail.
