2023 Emmy Award nominations announced: See full list

Television Academy Chairman Frank Scherma and Yvette Nicole Brown The 2023 Emmys nominations were announced this morning by Yvette Nicole Brown and Television Academy Chairman Frank Scherma. Succession (HBO/Max/Crave) led with 27 nominations, while The Last of Us (HBO/Max/Crave) received 24, The White Lotus (HBO/Max/Crave) was right behind with 23, and Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) received 21 nods in total.

The 75th annual Emmys are set to air live from the Peacock Theater on Monday, Sept. 18, at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET on Fox — however, if the writers’ strike is still ongoing by late summer, the ceremony may be delayed. ~Alexandra Heilbron

    They completely ignored the movie: THE SOUND OF FREEDOM!! Something you would think Hollywood would jump all over to bring to the attention of the people , to reach as many people as possible to male them aware of the problem in this country and other countries! Oh wait, maybe Hollywood condones it so therefore, does not want to call attention to the issue??

    Because Anita, the Emmys are for TV programs. Why are comments from people who loved Sound of Freedom so nasty? This isn’t the first one I’ve seen, there was one on a box office story as well. I thought the movie was liked by religious people? Is this how religious people act, in ignorance, being as nasty as they can be when they don’t know anything about what they’re talking about? Who doesn’t know the Emmys are for television? I mean, come on.

    DIsgusting that 1883,1923 or Yellowstone the most popular show on TV was not nominated for ANYTHING……won’t be watching AGAIN this year! Guess these shows are not woke enough! Shameful!
