Channing Tatum is in talks to play Superman. Although the buff Magic Mike star seems like an obvious choice to play the Man of Steel, before you get too excited, this isn’t what it appears. According to Variety, Channing is in talks to provide the voice of Superman for Lego: The Piece of Resistance, a film that combines live-action with Lego-based animation. However, Channing still hasn’t fully committed to the role because the in-demand actor is busy balancing a full shooting schedule. He is about to start work on Moneyball director Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher and is also scheduled to film a 21 Jump Street sequel. Funny guys Will Arnett and Chris Pratt have already signed on to the film, with Pratt voicing the lead character of Emmet and Arnett as Lego Batman. Lego: The Piece of Resistance is slated for a February 2014 release. ~Emily Davies
